Revision IT — Terms of Service

Last updated: 12/09/2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from Revision IT (ABN 97 500 732 503) of 45 Huntingdale Road, Huntingdale WA 6110. By placing an order you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Returns & Warranty Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy, which form part of these terms.

1. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees. Where any term conflicts with the Australian Consumer Law, the Australian Consumer Law prevails to the extent of the inconsistency, and the offending term is read down only so far as necessary.

2. Eligibility

To place an order you must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide.

3. Products and descriptions

Most items we sell are used and professionally refurbished. Items that are new are identified as such in the listing. Refurbished goods are pre-owned, are not sold as new, and do not carry the original manufacturer's warranty unless the listing expressly says so.

Each listing sets out the make, model and specification, the condition of the unit, our warranty period, and what is included in the box. Where a listing describes a part as genuine or original, it is a manufacturer-produced item; where it describes a part as compatible, it is a third-party equivalent.

Photographs and specifications are provided in good faith. Cosmetic wear consistent with the disclosed condition of a refurbished unit is an expected characteristic of that unit and is not a defect. See our Returns & Warranty Policy.

4. Pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Prices exclude delivery charges, which are calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

We may change prices at any time. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout. Where a price is listed in error, clause 5 applies.

5. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where:

  • the item is out of stock, or stock records prove inaccurate;
  • a price, specification or description was listed in error;
  • we cannot verify your payment or delivery details, or the order is flagged as fraudulent;
  • the order is for resale and we have not agreed separate commercial terms; or
  • we are unable to deliver to the address given.

Where we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full to the original payment method. Where a material error is found after you order, we will contact you and let you choose between proceeding on the corrected terms or cancelling for a full refund.

Much of our stock consists of single units. Where an item sells out between your order and our processing it, we will contact you promptly and refund in full.

6. Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's payment infrastructure and the payment providers enabled on this store. We do not receive or store your full card details. Goods remain our property until payment has cleared in full.

7. Delivery and risk

Delivery timeframes, methods and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Timeframes given are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the carrier.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your order arrives damaged in transit, contact us within a reasonable time with photographs of the packaging and the unit so we can resolve it with the carrier.

8. Returns, warranty and cancellation

Every item we sell carries a 3-month Revision IT warranty from the date of delivery. This is a voluntary warranty given in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit them.

Our full Returns & Warranty Policy sets out what the warranty covers and excludes, our discretionary 30-day change of mind window and its conditions, the assessment process for faulty goods, and the Return Authorisation procedure. That policy forms part of these terms.

9. Data on returned and supplied equipment

Backup is your responsibility. Units sent to us for assessment, repair, replacement or refund may be wiped, re-imaged, or have storage media replaced or destroyed. Remove all personal accounts and disable device locks, activation locks and BIOS passwords before returning anything. We accept no liability for loss of data, software, licences, credentials or configurations.

10. Software and licensing

Where a device is supplied with an operating system installed, that software is licensed, not sold, and is subject to the licence terms of its publisher. We do not supply retail licence media or licence keys unless the listing says so. Windows 11 hardware eligibility varies by model and generation; where eligibility is relevant, check the listing.

11. Business, education and reseller purchases

Consumer guarantees apply to goods under $100,000 whether the purchaser is an individual, a school or a business. They do not apply where goods are acquired for the purpose of re-supply, or for use up or transformation in a business of manufacture or repair. Resellers must contact us for separate commercial terms before ordering.

12. Acceptable use of this site

You agree not to use this site to break any law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape or harvest data by automated means, to place fraudulent or speculative orders, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property. We may suspend or refuse service to any account that does.

13. Intellectual property

Site content other than third-party trade marks and manufacturer imagery is owned by or licensed to Revision IT. Manufacturer names, model numbers and logos remain the property of their owners and are used only to identify the goods we supply. See our Legal Notice.

14. Liability

Subject always to clause 1 and to the Australian Consumer Law, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any product or order is limited, at our election, to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, repairing the goods, or refunding the price you paid.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or costs of substitute equipment. This clause does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the Australian Consumer Law, including liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee.

15. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place your order is the version that governs that order. Changes are effective when published on this page.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. The courts of Western Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
