3 Month Warranty Against Defects
Last updated: 12/09/2026
1. Mandatory statement
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
The benefits given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available to you under a law in relation to the goods to which this warranty relates.
2. Who provides this warranty
Revision IT

3. Cover period and scope
For 3 months from the date of delivery, Revision IT will repair, or at our election replace or refund, any unit that develops a defect in hardware function under normal use and service conditions. This warranty applies to every unit at every cosmetic grade.
Covered assemblies: mainboard, processor, memory, storage device, display panel, keyboard, trackpad, I/O ports, thermal solution, and internal power delivery circuitry.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not apply to:
- cosmetic wear, marks, scratches, dents or discolouration, whether disclosed at sale under the stated grade or arising subsequently;
- accidental damage, impact, crushing, liquid ingress or corrosion;
- damage from electrical surge, incorrect voltage, or use of a power supply other than the unit supplied or an equivalent-specification replacement;
- misuse, neglect, insect or vermin ingress, or operation outside the manufacturer's stated environmental limits;
- any unit opened, modified, disassembled or serviced by any party other than Revision IT or a repairer we authorise in writing, where that work caused or contributed to the fault;
- software faults, operating system corruption, malware, driver conflict, or issues caused by software or hardware installed by you after delivery;
- consumables and wear items, including batteries, and third-party accessories not supplied by us;
- loss of data (see section 6);
- units on which our asset label or serial identifier has been removed, defaced or altered;
- units acquired for re-supply.
Nothing in this section operates to exclude, restrict or modify the consumer guarantees.
5. Making a claim
Email revisionit1@gmail.com with your order number, unit serial, a description of the fault, and evidence where available, within the warranty period and within a reasonable time of the fault appearing.
We will issue an RA number and return instructions. Revision IT funds inbound freight on confirmed warranty defects. Units are assessed on receipt; where assessment returns a no-fault-found result or identifies an excluded cause under section 4, we may return the unit at your cost and invoice a diagnostic fee of $45, notified before charging.
Target turnaround from receipt is 7–10 business days, subject to parts availability. We will keep you informed where it will exceed that.
6. Data and consequential loss
You are responsible for backing up your data before submitting a unit for warranty service. Storage may be wiped or replaced. To the extent permitted by law, and subject always to the consumer guarantees, our liability under this warranty is limited to the repair, replacement or refund of the unit, and we are not liable for data loss or for indirect or consequential loss.
7. Cost of claiming
You bear any costs of claiming this warranty other than those we have expressly agreed to fund above — for example, your own packaging costs, or freight on a claim later found to fall outside cover.
Replacements are supplied at equivalent or better specification and at the same or better cosmetic grade, subject to stock, and carry the balance of the original warranty period, not a fresh 3 months.
