Common questions
Are refurbished laptops reliable enough for a business?
We sell business-grade models from Dell, HP and Lenovo, built to a higher standard than budget consumer laptops. Every unit gets a full hardware test before it goes out: mainboard, memory, storage, display, keyboard, trackpad, ports, thermals and power. The drive is securely wiped and genuine licensed Windows is reinstalled.
What actually happens in the Fleet Check?
It takes about 20 minutes. We go through each computer in the office, note its age and specs, check whether it can run Windows 11, and show you what refurbished replacements would realistically cost. You get a straight answer, and there's no obligation to buy.
Our computers still run Windows 10. What should we do?
Windows 10 no longer gets free security updates, and paid business updates cost more each year. Some machines can be upgraded to Windows 11, others can't. The Fleet Check tells you which is which, so you only replace what you need to.
What if a machine doesn't suit us?
Every Desk Swap comes with a 7-day trial. Every machine is also covered by our warranty against defects. Full details are on our Warranty page.
Do you only work with Perth businesses?
The Fleet Check and on-desk setup are for Perth metro offices. We ship machines Australia-wide.
Can you supply several matching machines?
